TARGET WORLD is a young brand that combines training, events and conferences with hunting culture, shooting sports, fine food and a rural way of life. At the TARGET WORLD campus in Landscheid, this includes, across 14 hectares in the Eifel region, a hunting school, modern shooting ranges, a store and gun room, a restaurant and lodge, as well as seminars, conferences and events.
Our Shooting Grounds include Trap, Skeet and Parcours, the 100 m lanes, the shooting cinema and the running boar. Nothing runs there without supervision – that’s why we’re looking for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervision on the shotgun and rifle ranges in accordance with our range rules
- Briefing guests on the range, procedures and safety rules
- Checking firearm handling, ammunition and hearing protection on the range
- Issuing, taking back and checking rental firearms, ammunition and clays
- Supporting individual shooters, groups, corporate events and Academy course participants
- Operating and basic troubleshooting of trap machines, the shooting cinema and the running boar
- Keeping the ranges tidy and clean, replenishing consumables
- Documenting shooting appointments and reporting defects to the range management
- First aid when needed
Your Profile
- Valid hunting license or proof of expertise in accordance with § 7 WaffG
- Experience in hunting or shooting sports and confident handling of long guns and handguns
- Minimum age 18
- Willingness to be trained in our range rules and to take a first-aid course – we cover both
- A calm, firm manner, even when you need to correct someone
- Enjoy working with guests, from first-timers on the range to seasoned regulars
- Willingness to work weekends
- Your own means of getting here, as the campus is outside town
