How long does the hunting license training at TARGET WORLD take?

The duration of the hunting license training at TARGET WORLD varies depending on the course model: The WILD UND HUND Compact Course extends over 16 consecutive days. The Intensive Course lasts 11 consecutive days, the Evening Course extends over 2 evenings per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) within 9 weeks plus 2 practical days, the Individual Course is flexible.

What does the hunting license course at TARGET WORLD cost?

The costs vary depending on the course model:

Evening Course: €2,090

WILD UND HUND Compact Course: €2,732

Intensive Course: €2,690

Individual Course: Price on request

All courses include teaching materials, ammunition, liability insurance, beverage allowance, shooting training, use of shooting ranges and loaner firearms, free tutoring, game for field dressing, discounts in the Store & Gunroom and at the Academy. Our individual hospitality packages can be booked for an additional fee. Course prices are subject to an additional €258 examination fee.

What services are included in the price?

The price includes teaching materials, ammunition, liability insurance, beverage allowance, shooting training, use of shooting ranges and loaner firearms, free tutoring, game for field dressing, and a 15% discount in our own Store & Gunroom* for your training equipment and your replacement equipment after passing the examination, as well as a voucher for students, trainees, and pupils. The costs for accommodation and meals during the examination days (see course schedule) are not included in the course price. *only on textiles and accessories, hardware excluded; not on promotional items

What happens after the training?

After successful training and examination, you will receive your hunting license. In addition, we invite you to the exclusive annual Alumni Driven Hunt and offer you a 15% discount on our initial equipment as well as on all advanced and continuing education courses at TARGET WORLD Academy that you book and attend within one year after the examination.

What qualifications do the instructors at TARGET WORLD have?

Our instructors are recognized experts with comprehensive expertise and many years of practical experience in hunting and shooting sports. They are certified and committed to providing our participants with the best possible training.

Does TARGET WORLD also offer corporate events?

Yes, we offer companies customized corporate events. These utilize the unique atmosphere of our campus to promote team spirit and corporate engagement, hold conferences, or demonstrate new products in the context of a trade fair. Our foyer can be used multifunctionally, including for the presentation of automobiles. Contact us for more information about our offerings.

Can private events be held at TARGET WORLD?

Yes, the TARGET WORLD Campus is ideally suited for private celebrations and family gatherings that leave nothing to be desired. All facilities are fully air-conditioned. Through the combination of our Weidblick Restaurant, the large outdoor terrace, flexible conference rooms, the multifunctional foyer with lobby and lounge bar, and the Hunter’s Lodge with 29 comfortable double rooms and exciting indoor and outdoor activities on the Shooting Grounds, we create a setting in which you can capture special moments of your life and celebrate them appropriately with an individual celebration—from weddings to children’s communions, milestone birthdays and anniversaries to concerts. Is there accommodation available during the course?

Yes, you can optionally book our hospitality package:

Package including breakfast Compact Course: €1,584.00 excluding examination days

Package including breakfast Intensive Course: €1,089.00 excluding examination days

Book accommodation including breakfast in addition to the examination. Alternatively, you can simply arrange your accommodation yourself.

What requirements must I meet for the hunting license course?

You must be physically fit and prepared to meet the theoretical and practical requirements of the hunting training. Training can begin at age 15. Minimum age for the hunting examination is 16 years.

Can I switch between course models?

Yes, by choosing the Individual Course offered and customizing it with us to your needs, depending on what suits you and your schedule better.

Can I prepare for the hunting license course in advance?

Yes, we expressly recommend self-study in advance. After receipt of payment, you will receive your learning materials immediately by mail so you can start right away.

Is there tutoring available if I have difficulties?

Yes, we offer free tutoring to ensure that every participant receives the best possible support and successfully passes the examination.

What should I bring to my hunting license course?

Please remember to dress appropriately and according to the season. We recommend bringing weatherproof clothing such as rubber boots, rain jacket, and sturdy footwear. The practical sessions take place outdoors. The weather may change suddenly. In our Store & Gunroom on the TARGET WORLD Campus, you will find everything your heart desires in suitable hunting and outdoor equipment for all weather conditions.
