Geese are highly social and intelligent animals. Successful goose hunting requires strategic preparation and skill. If the hunter makes mistakes during the hunt, the geese react immediately, and the desired success will not be achieved.

In this day seminar, we combine theory and practice. We provide comprehensive knowledge about the behavior and migration routes of geese, suitable equipment, shot sizes, chokes, and decoying methods, as well as legal frameworks and conservation aspects. A focus is placed on planning and setting up an effective decoy spread, camouflage, and site selection, enabling you to proceed purposefully in practice.

In the practical section, we will work on your shooting technique under realistic conditions. You will practice shots from a prone position, test various stances, and learn to anticipate the movements of crows or geese reliably. Four practice fields with varying difficulty levels and differently designed clay target layouts allow for realistic hunting scenarios, including high, crossing targets and tricky approaches. Approximately 100 clay targets per participant ensure ample practical experience and are ideal for optimizing hit rates, timing, procedure, and safety in goose hunting.

Typically, participants shoot with their own weapon: 100 shots are included in the price. Additional ammunition and clay targets can be purchased on-site. The event lasts from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A maximum of ten participants guarantees expert supervision by experienced trainers. Lunch is included in the price.
